Alun Hoskins grew up in Sussex, England but has for many years now lived in Ireland, both in Dublin and the Mid West of the country.

His heart is in Ireland but his origins, like many, are a bit of a melting pot.

A Welsh mother and an English, London born father who also had some Scottish, Irish, Scandinavian and Breton France ancestry thrown in for good measure.

 

Alun often says, "Go back far enough and... I'm just a Happy Mongrel."

His photography is self taught, sometimes a bit experimental and he currently uses a camera from the Fujifilm XT family.
